"The Ivory Cascade"

There is a moment — just before the room notices you've walked in — when candlelight catches the first row of pearls, and the whole gown seems to breathe. This is that moment, captured in fabric.
The Ivory Cascade is built in two movements. Beneath, a fitted silhouette in ivory tulle is layered edge to edge in hand-set sequins and pearls, arranged in overlapping scallops that shimmer like fish scales catching morning sun — dense at the bodice, cascading looser toward the scalloped pearl-edged hem. Over it, an open kaftan in liquid satin drapes from the shoulder in soft, weightless folds, its dramatic sleeves pooling like water when the arms are raised. A single wide band of hand-embroidered pearls runs the full length of the front placket and cuffs, framing the piece the way a gilt frame finishes a portrait.
"I wanted a bride to feel like she was wearing candlelight — something that moves like silk but catches the room like jewelry," says the Reah design team. "The scalloped beading took the longest. Every row had to overlap the last perfectly, or the light wouldn't fall right."
